Tessa decided to start her career in the automotive industry after taking a small engines class in high school and soon after started working for Checker Auto Parts. She enrolled at Century College to get her Automotive Technician degree and has since earned many different certificates and completed training courses to further her education in the automotive industry.

No workday or vehicle is ever the same for Tessa, which she enjoys, as there is always more to learn. This is the first job she’s had where she isn’t looking at the clock and hoping the day will be over soon. She’s busy all the time with her position as the only female Automotive Technician at TGK Automotive.
